Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to join our team. This role is essential in preserving the aesthetic appeal of our community through expert horticultural practices. Responsibilities

  • Assess the health of plants, trees, and turf, diagnosing plant diseases and pests.
  • Plan and implement seasonal planting plans.
  • Maintain and improve garden landscapes, including lawns, flowerbeds, hedges, and trees.
  • Prune trees and hedges to maintain shape and health.
  • Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other garden chemicals according to safety instructions and regulations.
  • Mulch, edge, weed, and remove leaves.
  • Operate garden machinery and tools, including trimmers and sprayers.
  • Install and maintain water features and fountains, including daily cleaning and winterization.
  • Power wash surfaces such as buildings, sidewalks, and vehicles to remove dirt, grime, and contaminants.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform manual labor, including frequent walking, bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, and moving in all weather conditions.
  • Strong communication skills with supervisors and co-workers.
  • Proficiency in handling various tools and equipment.
  • Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc.
  • Ability to respond to instruction and acquire skills quickly through on-the-job training.
  • Capability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Hours of Employment

Daily hours are from Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3 pm.
