This critical role involves coordinating schedules, managing resources, and serving as the backbone of operations to ensure timely deliveries, smooth communication, and an efficient workflow. Key Responsibilities: + Schedule and dispatch vehicles, equipment, personnel, or deliveries based on customer requests, operational plans, or emergency weather conditions. + Maintain real-time communication with drivers or field employees and resolve issues that arise during operations efficiently. + Monitor and track fleet activity, ensuring on-time arrivals, routes optimization, and proper usage of resources. + Process service orders, collect shipment or delivery details, and prepare accurate dispatch records. + Work closely with the operations team to improve logistics strategies and achieve business goals. + Communicate professionally and effectively with customers to provide updates, resolve inquiries, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction. Requirements + Prior experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or a related field is preferred. + Demonstrated ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. + Knowledge of dispatch software systems or GPS tracking tools is a plus. + Excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills, and adaptability under pressure. + Comfortable working with Microsoft Office Suite and other digital tools to track and schedule operations.
