Job Description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Electricians in Sparks, NV. As a trusted partner in the construction industry, we connect top talent with top companies across the United States. 72 Hours per week

Pay: $28-$32/HR

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of current electrical codes and best practices.
• Experience with commercial/industrial electrical construction.
• Experience with the interpretation of drawings, current construction methods, and specifying/ordering of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Mentor and train apprentices and other team members.
• Manage project files, drawings, documents & records in our project system.
• Willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willing to work on out-of-town projects.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license that represents a history of safe & competent driving.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to talk or hear, sit, stand, bend, stoop, stretch, twist, use hands, and/or reach out for prolonged periods of time
• Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination
• Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles.
• Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
• Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions
• Must be able to work around wood dust and fumes
• Maybe exposed to heights and loud noises
• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be aware of OSHA safety standards

Pay Transparency: A reasonable estimate of the available hourly pay scale for this position is $28-$32/HR. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on qualifications and other factors essential to the performance of duties and is determined by the hiring authority.
