Job Description

DESCRIPTION

Amazon Corporate Security’s (ACS) mission is to deliver a safe and secure workplace for all Amazonians. The Business Assurance Center (BAC) supports this mission by providing 24/7 global security operations center (GSOC) services to roughly 500k global corporate customers, serving as a single point of intake for corporate security issues worldwide.

The BAC is looking for a talented product manager to support our rapidly growing GSOC program. A successful candidate will have a strong track record of meeting partner and customer need through flexible, adaptable solutions, tracking goals and metrics, and maintaining fidelity on the details of a product. This role will manage key elements of the Galaxy Program, an effort which brings stakeholders together to foster collective decision-making around operational response procedures. This role requires the ability to build relationships across functional stakeholders, anticipate stakeholder needs and customer needs to propose and plan future work and deliverables, strong written and verbal communication skills, a deep sense of ownership, and an ability to shift between strategic thinking and rolling up your sleeves to get things done.

Key job responsibilities
* Manage requirements gathering, documentation, planning, and implementation of tools and enhancements under the Galaxy Program.
* Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally across multiple teams to define product roadmaps while keeping the impact of the solution to all stakeholders in mind.
* Advance elements of the Galaxy Program by fostering stakeholder relationships that drive forward progress toward shared goals.
* Present clear options and priorities to leadership, backing recommendations with specific data and examples.
* Communicate product status to leadership, team members, and stakeholders.
* Support the continuous work of the Galaxy Program as part of the BAC business by ensuring ongoing efforts and new activities align with Amazon technical security, privacy, and financial processes.
* Leverage product ownership tools to adhere to product roadmaps and achieve goals.

A day in the life
As a Product Manager supporting the Galaxy Program, you will join a group of professionals supporting the growth and evolution of the BAC to provide flawless services to its current and future Amazonian customers. As part of the BAC leadership team, you will help Think Big and manage efforts that continue to define the BAC’s mission, vision, and service delivery goals. You will demonstrate a high degree of ownership, have bias for action, and be responsible for creating clear paths to successful product delivery. You will engage with partner teams to drive efficiencies, and bridge gaps in processes in systems.
