Laboratory Assistant ( Duration: 3 months (potential to extend))

📍 Aliso Viejo, CA

💵 $22–$25/hour

🕒 Part-Time | 8–16 hours/week

📅 Start: July 21, 2025 | End: October 24, 2025

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to support daily operations in a professional laboratory setting. This is a temporary, part-time position with the possibility of extension, ideal for students or early-career professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in a lab environment.

✅ Position Highlights

• Schedule: 1–2 weekdays/week (consecutive days preferred)
• Duration: 3 months, filling in for a part-time employee
• Team Environment: Small, collaborative group (2–3 team members)
• Tasks: No research or special projects — general support and maintenance only

🔬 Key Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, and restock glassware and lab equipment
• Set up and maintain standard lab instruments
• Keep work areas organized and hazard-free
• Assist with preparing simple chemical cleaning solutions
• Monitor supplies and support inventory restocking
• Perform basic lab support tasks as directed

🧪 What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable handling lab chemicals (acids, bases, organics)
• Able to follow short written instructions and notes
• Experience not required; ideal for students familiar with lab settings
• Reliability and attention to detail are essential
