Description A large defense law firm located in Century City seeks a litigation attorney for a hybrid contract-to-hire position. This opportunity offers significant career growth potential, exposure to complex litigation matters, and the flexibility of hybrid work arrangements. Responsibilities Include: + Managing all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation. + Drafting and reviewing motions, briefs, and legal memoranda. + Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis of litigation issues. + Handling a caseload of complex defense matters. + Collaborating with partners and legal teams to develop and implement case strategies. Requirements Requirements: + Active membership in the California State Bar, with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. + Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, ideally within a mid-size or large law firm setting. + Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills. + Familiarity with case management and eDiscovery tools is preferred. + Proven ability to thrive both independently and in team environments under time-sensitive conditions.
