Siemens U.S. Smart Infrastructure (SI) is looking for a looking for a Logistics Data Analyst to join their growing team. The Logistic Data Analyst is a key position located in Alpharetta, GA which will work across functional areas to support data analytics needs for processes and projects. The role will be responsible for designing & analyzing data models to identify root causes, opportunities, and trends. The job requires organizational abilities with strong written and communication skills.

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Develop understanding of business needs and define actions to ensure requirements are met.
  • Analyze historical trends & performance data of transportation suppliers to provide input for business decisions.
  • Gather, evaluate, and analyze logistics and business data using analytical tools.
  • Assess opportunities and collaborate with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain tools and documentation for processes and projects.
  • Analyze data to identify business plan variances using established systems and ad-hoc problem solving.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management team.
  • Support implementation and monitoring of logistics solutions.
  • Problem Solving / Analysis - identify root causes and generate technical solutions to support business decisions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree required: Supply Chain Logistics, Engineering, or Business Administration
  • Computer skills required – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access & Project Management
  • Experience with Tableau, Snowflake, KNIME, Power BI
  • Must be well versed in SAP knowledge / experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently/effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Problem solver with cost, quality, and performance focused.
  • Vast working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Access
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP or related ERP system
  • Tableau Citizen Developer
  • 3 years of SAP experience

  • The pay range for this position is $60,340 - $103,440. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
