Description We are looking for a meticulous and organized Order Entry Clerk to join our team in Davis, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate order processing, maintaining inventory records, and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: - Update and maintain inventory records to ensure accuracy and accessibility. - Handle customer inquiries and requests with professionalism and efficiency. - Prepare and manage documentation, including invoices, packing slips, and shipping documents. - Select and prepare inventory for shipment, confirming the correct quantities are pulled. - Conduct thorough quality checks to verify that orders are accurate before shipping. - Keep the warehouse organized and clean to support smooth operations. - Collaborate with team members to optimize order processing workflows. - Utilize CRM and ERP systems for tracking and managing orders. - Process payments and checks as part of the order fulfillment process. - Assist with answering inbound calls and addressing customer needs promptly. Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent education. - Previous experience in a similar role, such as order fulfillment or inventory management. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with inventory management software. - Excellent mathematical skills for inventory calculations and updates. - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. - Effective written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. - Experience with CRM and ERP solutions is highly desirable.
