Position Overview:
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Project & Content Manager to join our External Affairs Team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who brings both strong project management skills and a flair for creating compelling digital content. In this role, you'll manage projects, oversee content updates across our digital platforms, and help execute email marketing campaigns—all to enhance our brand's visibility and impact.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects while playing a key role in shaping our brand's presence. Reporting to the Creative Services Lead, the ideal candidate will bring excellent project management abilities, strong writing and editing skills, and experience with content management systems.
This is a full-time, exempt position. It offers a hybrid work arrangement for Seattle-based candidates and is open to fully remote candidates based within the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Cross-Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with the External Affairs Team to plan, execute, and monitor projects, ensuring they are completed on time and aligned with our strategic goals.
Organize and facilitate meetings, providing project updates to stakeholders.
Coordinate resources and align them with our core priorities.
Utilize project management tools (e.g., Asana) to track progress and ensure efficiency.
Work closely with internal teams such as Programs, Partnerships, and Operations to streamline workflows and meet project objectives.
Content Management:
Regularly update and maintain website content to ensure it is accurate, consistent, and on-brand.
Manage email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, content creation, and tracking performance.
Collaborate across teams to ensure consistent messaging and voice across all digital channels.
Organizational Engagement & Participation:
Embody our core values and culture by taking initiative and embracing challenges as opportunities for growth.
Actively contribute to enhancing our organizational culture by participating in team activities, committee work, and other initiatives.
Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the organization externally.
Provide inputs for initiatives, proposals, reports, and knowledge-sharing efforts as needed.
Accurately record and report data using internal tools such as Harvest, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
Engage in continuous learning opportunities, including team training sessions and development programs.
Qualifications:
Required:
A bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated interest or experience in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related fields, especially within nonprofit or social impact sectors.
Strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and shifting deadlines with attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Desired:
A degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Proven experience in project management, content creation, and digital marketing.
Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Wagtail).
Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Emma).
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with design tools like Canva, Figma, or Photoshop is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:
The starting salary for this role ranges from $58,000 to $66,500, depending on experience.
