Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Project & Content Manager to join our External Affairs Team. This hybrid role is perfect for someone with strong project management skills and a passion for crafting engaging digital content. In this role, you will manage various projects, update content across our web platforms, and design email marketing campaigns to amplify our brand's visibility and social impact.

You will report to the Creative Services Lead and should be adept at managing multiple tasks, editing content, and using content management systems.
This is a full-time, exempt position. It's hybrid for Seattle-based candidates, with a fully remote option for candidates located outside Seattle.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Cross-Team Collaboration
Support the External Affairs Team in planning, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure timely completion.
Organize and facilitate team meetings, providing project updates to stakeholders.
Coordinate project resources, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Use project management tools (e.g., Asana) to track progress and maximize efficiency.
Collaborate with internal teams, including programs, partnerships, and operations, to streamline workflows and meet project objectives.
Content Management
Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy and consistency with our brand guidelines.
Oversee email marketing campaigns, including content creation, audience segmentation, and performance tracking.
Collaborate with teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice in all digital communications.
Organizational Engagement & Participation
Demonstrate commitment to our core values and mission by embracing challenges and taking action.
Engage in continuous learning, ask questions, and adapt as needed.
Actively contribute to the growth of the organization through volunteerism, team activities, and more.
Represent the organization externally and serve as a brand ambassador.
Contribute to process improvement and the evolution of our platform for social change.
Assist in co-designing initiatives, proposals, reports, and other organizational efforts.
Provide timely data recording via systems such as Harvest, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
Participate in Learning & Development opportunities to enhance skills.
Required Qualifications
A bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of related experience (or a combination of education and experience).
Experience or a strong interest in communications, marketing, business, or related fields, particularly in the nonprofit sector.
Proactive, independent, and solution-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects with attention to detail.
Desired Qualifications
A degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Proven project management experience, from planning to execution.
Experience with content creation, editing, and publishing.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing principles and best practices.
Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Wagtail).
Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Emma).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Figma, Photoshop) is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting salary: $58,000 - $66,500, based on experience.
