Digital Designer (Service Messages Team) – Join an Innovative AI & Brand Studio!

3-month contract

Location: Bellevue WA, Frisco TX, Atlanta GA, Herndon VA, or Overland Park KS (Minimum 3 days/week in-office)

We're seeking a proactive and organized self-starter to join our dynamic AI Automation & Performance team within a larger creative organization.

What You'll Do:

As a Digital Designer on our Service Messages Team, you'll be at the heart of our customer communications, blending creativity with cutting-edge technology:

• Conceptualize & Execute Designs: Develop bold, fun, and innovative digital creative for web and app campaigns, specifically for contextualized messages delivered via app, email, and SMS to targeted customer segments.
• Agile Workflow Participation: Fully integrate into our small, tight-knit Agile pod, using Kanban boards and daily scrums to manage tasks, prioritize projects, and ensure rapid content deployment.
• Collaborate in Real-Time: Work side-by-side with copywriters in Figma, executing design and layout directly within shared files to ensure seamless and cohesive final deliverables.
• Proactive Problem-Solving: Identify missing details, proactively gather information to refine evolving briefs, and cross-train on various digital tactics for broader web and app placements.
• Maintain Brand Excellence: Champion our vibrant brand personality and voice, ensuring all design and layout strictly adhere to brand guidelines across all creative outputs.
• Master Design Tools: Leverage your mastery of Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) to create and iterate on visual designs, while efficiently managing design assets and tracking projects in Adobe Workfront or similar tools.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience: 3+ years as a Digital Designer or Visual Designer in digital marketing, with a proven track record in high-volume production design.
• Agile Methodology: Comfort and experience working with Kanban boards, daily scrums, or related Agile processes.
• Impactful Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your best digital work, including web, email, app, or similar campaign assets.
• Tool Proficiency: Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and experience with project management tools (Adobe Workfront or similar). Familiarity with Microsoft Teams. Experience working with a content management system is a plus.
• Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team setting while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Bonus Points For:

• Familiarity with the telecommunications/tech industry or experience working for a major consumer brand.
• A basic understanding of HTML/CSS to facilitate developer collaboration.
• Familiarity with Adobe Workfront or other workflow software.
• An understanding of how digital work is delivered via a content management system, with a focus on reusable (headless) content.
