Job Overview:
Food Manufacturing Company is seeking a motivated and reliable Bilingual Warehouse Employee to join our team. This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish to facilitate effective communication with a diverse team and ensure smooth warehouse operations. You will be responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory management, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Your language skills will be critical in enhancing team collaboration and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the loading and unloading of shipments, using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments, checking for accuracy and damages.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and drivers in both English and Spanish.
• Maintain proper labeling and storage of products in designated areas.
• Assist with inventory control, including stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, hand trucks) safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring compliance with safety and OSHA regulations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and ensure smooth operations.
• Translate instructions, safety protocols, and training materials between English and Spanish, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Languages: Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move products up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift certification is a plus (training can be provided).
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills in both languages.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in various warehouse conditions (e.g., hot, cold, dusty environments).
